Christmas Cards

I love making my own Christmas Cards. Starting around end of October and beginning of November coming to the Lord and asking the question, “Lord Jesus give me what to draw on the Christmas card this year?” The best part about asking God for the ideas is, that he already knows who will be receiving a card and He can tune the message to meet someone where they are at. This is a practice that I have followed for all my recent drawn cards and He always returns with not just a idea but a direction.

This year it came down to Christmas Bulbs or Christmas Globe. I went with the globe as a way of capturing a moment in time of the beings of Jesus’ life as a human. Also, to change it up used pastel to paint the card picture instead of my typical pen and ink. This was a real challenge to get the globe to look like glass.
